Undergraduate Microbiology Prize - awarded annually to the undergraduate student in each qualifying university who performs best in microbiology in their penultimate year of study for a Bachelor of Science degree. Nominations must be made by the student's department. Application form necessary. Closing date in 2008 to be announced
Seminar Speakers Fund - makes small grants to cover the travel and other expenses of up to two speakers on microbiological topics in annual departmental seminar programmes. Applications by written submission (no form) on a first come, first served basis.
Student Society Sponsored Lectures - small grants to cover the travel and other expenses of up to two speakers on microbiological topics each year at student society meetings. Application form necessary.
